Most of the tourist attraction countries are good for travelers all over the year. But rainy season is not that comfortable. But those who like rain, may note Cherrapunjee in India is rated as the highest rainfall area of the world. It is a small town at 4823 feet altitude (1484 meter) above sea level. It is in Meghalaya state of India. Annual average rainfall is 12647 mm. The highest recorded in a single day is about 1563 mm =5.12 feet on 16th June 1995. April - October is termed here as rainy season.
