Ipoh
Malaysia’s third-largest city. The actual meaning of the name is the ‘City of Millionaires’ The Tin mining wealth during the colonial time made the city dwellers rich. This is almost like ghosts of its grand colonial days with the mixture of colonial and modern architecture. Moorish and Victorian pastiche of the train station the best example. The city center with colonial-era shops, retains their originality.
