For budget visitor and tourists their are thousands of guest houses, hotels, boardings etc. These generally quite affordable. From $5.00 - $ 50.00 per night. These are mostly in Banani, Gulshan of Dhaka city.http://www.angelfire.com/tx/rezaul/guest.htmFood is quite cheap affordable and testy. Only thing is, to avoid drinking tap water. Visitors should take bottled pure water, which generally cost about $ 0.20 /liter bottle. MUM is a good reliable brand. Those travelers who like urban view may find some interesting places in Dhaka to visit. Dhaka city is growing very fast, everywhere you find construction of sky scraper going on. Population growth is also quite fast. Naturally, Government facing difficulties to cope with the public demand. Road transport are in a bit chaotic. Too many people, too many transports, but not enough road space. Most common road transport is Rickshaw. Millions are in Dhaka. All travelers must go for a Rickshaw ride. It is cheap and fast also.Parliament Building near old airport is a famous structure. Nawab’s palace in Sadarghat is also another structure tourists should visit. As usual like many other country Dhaka city has two sides one is the old city and the other new city. New part is growing fast. with many sky scrappers. The Liberation monument in Savar is a spectacular structure. Any foreign diplomats or head of the Government who visit Bangladesh place wreath in respect of the soldiers died during liberation war in 1971. This the national monument. On way to Savar people get some glimpses of rural beauty of Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a riverine country. It is quite plain. So boats are a common transport any one can find in Bangladesh. Paddle small boats in use mostly for localized transportation.

Bangladesh a small country in south East Asia, where you can find the blend of both East and West of the world. It is full of scenic beauty, mostly green and full of rivers channels flown to the sea of Bay of Bengal. This country is a delta country almost built by the sediments and silts flown by mighty rivers of Ganges and Brahmaputra from Himalaya mountain range. It is surrounded in 3 sides by India and little part by Myanmar in eastern side. In south, is the Bay of Bengal.

It has the longest sandy open beach of the world named Coxes Bazar beach. Another famous beach is Kua Kata where from visitors can watch Sunrise and Sunset in the ocean from the same point of beach, which is very rare in the world.

For Green lovers, Sundarban of Bangladesh is having a beautiful sea front mangrove forest, which stretches almost all the south of the country. It is a spectacular view of wild nature. Here houses the famous Royal Bengal Tiger, the Spotted Deer, thousands of spices of birds, reptiles, insects etc.

It is easier for visiting this forest by boat and yates. Visitors can get the glimpses of the Royal Bengal Tiger and shoot photo from a safe distance. The spotted deers are abundant. Shooting allowed by camera not by gun. thousands of marshy swam streams are the home of crocodiles and other reptiles.

Most interesting is the birds. Visitors can find many rare specimens of birds in Sundarban.

Anyone interested in passing some peaceful time on-land with adequate protection can do so. They can stay couple of days inside the forest in huts / banglows made and maintained by Government. All the modern amenities are available. Can enjoy fresh sea and also sweet water fish.

These all known to you, but many times it happened that in the last minute you end up in disappointment for some silly mishap.

Better to avoid this you can have a checklist on your notebook.

Check passport, for validity at least for next six months ( many country require for issuing Visa). enough blank page for Visa sticker and stamps.

If you have enough time, browse internet for package tour deals. ( try http://airasia.com or goholiday.airasia.com). If you lucky you might get almost free seat even.

Do not forget to take a printout of booking. You need this for checking in.

For hotel, better not to go through agents, You get much better deals at airport.
