Bangkok airport under the control of anti government protesters. This is a insane situation in the country. The main gateway of the country closed for almost 4 days. Most of the tourists are in problem as many of them were scheduled to be back to their home, and now facing financial problem.

The Airport lounge is now the indoor playground of the protesters. They are using for practicing Badminton in there.  Law enforcing force also just waiting for any solution. But they are suppose to be in alart position!

Another added problem is the Thai Muslims, who are stranded in the airport for the flights to Mecca for Hajj in the first week of December. The relatives and friends of them, do not have any other alternative but to protest on street.

It is now not advisable to plan any trip to Thailand for another couple of weeks.

Better to go to Malaysia, Singapore or Cambodia  for this year’s vacation.

Because of the contentious protest against ruling party of Thailand Government, the main airport or gateway of the country Bangkok airport is closed. In fact the Opposition aassitators taken control of the airport and surrounding area roads highways. No flights are landing or taking off from this airport.

Oppposition party, People’s Alliance for Democracy took over the departure area at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok,  halting all outbound flights. Their demand is the resignation of present Prime Minister Mr.  Somchai Wongsawat.

It  is a  complete chaos and confussion in the country. Law and order situation very low. Better not to choose Thailand as Vaction spot for the time being, at least for next 7 /8 weeks. If you have already sceduled your vacation, then you may choose MALAYSIA instead Thailand for this year.

Generally to visit Thailand Air is the best. Main airport, Bangkok airport (BKK).  On arrival, as usual proceed immigration first. Thai visa can be obtained for one moth on arrival.   But better to have the visa from the local Thai embassy before you proceed to avoid any unwanted embarrassment, because of recent security law.
